Hey,

Mindset is everything. Not just with AI. With everything.

And right now, as the year ends and a new one begins, this might be the best possible moment to do something.

Start something new.

Anything.

Too hard?

Thinking you need to know something about it first?

I don’t think so. I believe you don’t need to have everything clearly defined upfront anymore.

Think about it for a moment: you have an expert for almost any field in your pocket.

Before, we had to search for information on Google. Read articles. Learn from books. Judge what’s true and what’s not. Today, you can simply say:

And AI helps you think forward. Define steps. Clarify uncertainties. And when you get stuck, you ask.

Isn’t that simple?

That’s why I’m inviting you to something very simple in the coming year: Start something new. Something you haven’t dared to try before. Just try.

And if you get stuck, you can write to me too. I’ll tell you how I would approach it.

I want you to start believing in something very concrete: That you can achieve more than you think.

Not because AI is “all-powerful.” But because mindset wins.

I often hear:

“AI isn’t there yet.” “AI can’t help me here.” “I don’t know how to do this.” “It’s pointless because…”

But look at it from a different angle.

AI currently has more knowledge than any individual expert. It contains practically everything that has ever been written in human history.

But it’s up to us to “draw out” that knowledge.

You know I’ve emphasized many times that communication is extremely important.

Here’s how you can think about it:

Imagine you hire a builder and only tell them: “Build a house.”

Will you get a house? Yes.

Will it be the house you want? Almost certainly not.

Why? Because you didn’t clearly say:

And because you didn’t have a conversation.

And here’s the thing: Even if you think you don’t know how to communicate, you can always ask AI something like:

“What do I need to ask you to get the result I want?” 🤯

And here comes the main point of what I want to say.

If you start working with AI, you won’t just be training new skills.

Why?

Because drawing a good result from AI is very similar to drawing the best result from a person or a team.

If someone says:

“AI isn’t at that level yet.”

to me, that’s very similar to saying:

“My team isn’t at that level yet.”

The first question you should ask yourself isn’t:

But:

When you train with AI, you’re training:

If you’re not an expert in a field, you’ll practice how to get to the right context before you even demand a solution. And that’s one of the most important leadership skills.

That’s why this is a really good moment.

Not because a new year is approaching. But because you have a tool available that lets you train mindset, communication, and leadership. And that’s every day.

Here’s what I’ve been thinking:

AI isn’t a replacement for people. It’s a mirror.

And what we see in it very often says the most about us.

If we approach this properly, curiously, with a desire to become better, we won’t just learn something new. We’ll become clearer in our communication. If you lead people, that’s very important.

And that’s an advantage that goes with you anywhere.

Happy holidays to you and your loved ones.

Primož
